GEVA is a trade association comprised of individuals and organizations who either conceptualize, manage or execute events within the state of Goa. It is run through a council of representatives elected by its members for the benefit of its members.
Created in 2019, the Goa Event Vendors Association (GEVA) was designed to fill a gap in the entertainment industry with a unified voice that leads dialogue within its members and with Government, Statutory Bodies, Private and Municipal Licensing Bodies, Corporate Industry and Artists.
The endeavor of the association is to create a level playing field for the industry within the state as well as continuously improve the standard of quality of product being delivered by the fraternity and thereby encourage growth of the industry.
The aim is to achieve this via understanding the needs, addressing challenges and developing opportunities for the members through education and standardization.
To build a NETWORK of professionals who work in harmony to uphold a standard of EXCELLENCE in their respective fields and be a SUPPORT SYSTEM to its members to further INDUSTRY GROWTH
To act as the ‘Go To’ forum to represent and promote the interest of various custodians of the event industry by way of its members with the Government, statutory bodies and various other bodies related to the Tourism industry
To cultivate ‘Deeper and Mutual Beneficial’ business relationships within the members of the association, thus bringing forth inclusive growth
To build a strong representation through its members, that would lend a ‘Unified Voice’ about the needs and grievances of the industry in front of the respective authorities
To most importantly, ‘Protect’ and ‘Defend’ the interests of the members of the association in their need of hour from any external aggression, injustice or malpractices
To provide a platform to meet and discuss matters or issues related to the event industry on a regular basis
To offer a ‘Knowledge’ sharing ‘Platform’ of industry best practices, thus offering product & service qualitative growth within the event industry
To ‘Assist’ its members in ‘Legal’ and ‘Financial’ accounting matters, by way of providing a set of contracted professionals through a retainer fee program, offering its members legal & financial advice at nominal charges
To create a successful and relevant ‘Resource System’ for industry professionals to include safety education, networking and regulatory development
The founding members recognized the need to create an association, for the advancement of the Event industry in Goa.
A vision, 10 years in the making has finally taken shape in the form of
the Goa Event Vendors Association - GEVA.
An association built on the concept of COLLECTIVE GROWTH as opposed to individual.
The core 11 founding members came together and founded GEVA as a platform to unify and strengthen the VOICE of the event industry in Goa and provide each of its member a UNIFORM platform to grow TOGETHER.
GEVA is a mutually beneficial association for its members in terms of KNOWLEDGE and RESOURCE sharing.
